What is the default resolution?
If no resolution is given, it is 2K for Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, and Nano Banana 2.1, and 1K for Nano Banana Flash and Nano Banana 2 Lite. Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, and Nano Banana 2.1 generate at 1K, 2K, and 4K; Nano Banana Flash and Nano Banana 2 Lite only at 1K.
What does auto do in aspect_ratio?
The mode is available on 4 models: Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana 2.1, and Nano Banana Flash. With
auto the model picks the aspect ratio: with a reference image it usually follows the aspect ratio of the first one, and without one the aspect ratio is not guaranteed. Nano Banana 2 Lite has no auto mode. If your layout depends on the aspect ratio, pass aspect_ratio explicitly.Which elongated aspect ratios are available?
Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana 2.1 have 8:1 and 4:1 (wide strips), 1:4 and 1:8 (tall strips), at 1K, 2K, and 4K.
