In brief
- You must not create images that harm people: sexual images of minors, intimate images without consent, deception and harassment.
- You must not bypass limits, protections and model filters, or give keys to other people.
- If a model declines a request because of its content, we refund the money. Persistent attempts to get around the refusal are a violation.
- A violation leads to a key restriction or the closing of the account.
1Why these rules exist
1.1Rendergrid gives access to powerful models. These rules protect people, you and the service itself. They are part of the Terms of use.
2What you must not create
2.1Sexual images of minors or images that sexualize children. We prohibit this without exceptions.
2.2Intimate images of a real person without their consent, including fabricated ones.
2.3Realistic images of real people that are meant to mislead: fake statements, documents, “evidence”.
2.4Content that calls for violence, terrorism or hatred toward people on the basis of race, sex, religion, origin or health.
2.5Content that encourages self-harm or presents it as attractive.
2.6Materials for fraud and phishing: fake websites, emails and documents of organizations.
2.7Content that violates the rights of others: trademarks, copyrighted material, people’s personal data without the right to use it.
3What you must not do with the service
3.1Bypass request limits, the protection of the service, or checks of keys or payments.
3.2Give your key to other people or publish it.
3.3Create many accounts to get around restrictions.
3.4Deliberately get around refusals and model filters: rewriting the same prohibited request until the model agrees.
3.5Create load that interferes with other clients.
3.6Reselling access is allowed, and agencies and studios may use the service for their clients—but this document also applies to such content, and the owner of a key is responsible for requests made with it.
4Your references
4.1Upload only images that you have rights to. Do not upload images of children, intimate images or other people’s personal documents.
4.2Uploaded references are stored for 48 hours after the last upload and then deleted.
5When a model declines
5.1A model may decline to create an image because of the content of the request. In that case the generation counts as failed, and the money returns to your balance automatically.
5.2A refusal is not a failure of the service. If your request is acceptable, change the wording. Repeating the same prohibited request is not allowed: see clause 3.4.
6How we monitor compliance
6.1We use the model makers’ checks and our own automated checks. If we suspect a violation, we may review the requests and results connected with it.
6.2We do not promise to review all content and are not responsible for what goes unnoticed.
7What happens for a violation
7.1Depending on severity: a warning, a key restriction, stopping requests, closing the account.
7.2In serious cases we may report violations to the authorities and to the affected parties, if the law requires it.
8How to report a violation
8.1If you see content or behavior that violates these rules, write to support@rendergrid.io: describe what happened and attach a link or the generation ID.
9Changes
9.1We may change the rules and will tell you in advance if the changes are material. The date of the version is shown at the beginning of the document.
